R50/53 Mini comfort on long trips
6', 185lbs, 40y.o. did 3,200 miles in 5 days. Shortest was 8hrs, longest 13 hrs. '04 MCS w/17' runflats. Never really thought about comfort along the way, so I guess it wasn't an issue. In my CRX sometimes my back will get sore after 6-10hrs, but not in the MCS.
I didn't notice any situation where the car felt out of sorts (expansion joints, etc.) Then again, I haven't driven in an Accord in years. We've got a Subaru wagon, but can't say that I'd choose it for comfort vs. the MCS, only if I need to bring a bunch of stuff!

Get leather seats, they have lumbar support. I've driven 8 hrs to Vegas and 6 hrs to SoCal from NorCal straight multiple times and my back feels great afterwards :D My feet are sore from all the flooring though
Can anyone relate the MC or MCS to the Acura Integra. My brother has an automatic coupe that is stock. I feel pretty sure that the Mini would be more smooth than his and I am still ok riding in his. Anybody know if the Mini is like the Integra. Thanks

My old Integra GSR certainly had a smoother and less choppy ride than my Cooper.
