im considering buying replacing my current MC. i really like how the 05 MCS turned out. the biggest question i have is... what color combo? i really like my LY/W MC and will probably end up getting an MCS with the same combo, but i can't decide. so, what's the question? here it is: if you have bought your second MINI, did you get a different color combo and why or why not?

 

Looking at your sig I got an idea- Get a LY/B MCS, then paint the roof sliver like the old school S's There's a girl in my neighborhood with a BRG/S MCS and it looks friggin sweet.

If you really love the yellow, why mess with a good thing? I bought a CR/B because it was a good deal, and I can't help but lust after every BRG/B I see.

 

I almost ordered another Cooper.....exact same spec (okay, very minor tweaks) as my current one, but I was hoping EB would show up in the States on Coopers. It didn't (but did everywhere else on the planet). Now I'm mad (not really) so I'm keeping my existing Cooper f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I want an EB/W Cooper and I am denied.

 

I just took delivery of my new '05 MCS! My '04 MCS was (Still is, but now lives in a new home) Chili Red/White with the Union Jack roof flag and chrome grille and mirror caps. Guess what? My new '05 MCS is configured exactly the same! Even the interior is also black leatherette with anthracite trim.

I also considered switching to Hyper Blue/White, but I like Chili Red too much and besides, Hyper Blue is $420 more expensive than the solid red paint.

I swtiched to the '05 MCS going mostly after the new supercharger, improved gearbox, etc, etc. The car is absolute insane fun! I am 500% satisfied with my purchase!

Traded my BRG/W '03 MCS for a BRG/W '05 MCS; almost exactly the same. I thought I should make some changes, but I couldn't find a color combo that I liked more. To at least change something, I did get the antricite interior and white wheels this time. I love the interior, but kind of regret the wheels, since they get dirty even quicker than the sliver.

 

You know what I did, Mike:smile: The BRG is not as flashy as CR or LY but I love it's richness. Pick the color you love, if it's yellow then go for it So now I know what you meant by "good things come for those who wait"

I went from ps/b to eb/w

 

I looked at a lot of MINIs when trying to find my replacement. None of the other colors felt right. I think I am, and always will be, a "Chili Red". I did switch from CR/W to CR/B it made me wish that I had gotten a black roof the first time around.

The only color that will take me away from Chili Red would be Purple Haze.

 

Sold my 03 MCS DS/DS and bought an 05 MCS DS/DS....exact same options + anthracite headliner....I wanted to get the HB/HB but was told it wasn't available at time of order.........they were wrong But I still love color. It seems everyone was happy with what they had and just wanted the improvements offered in the 05.

AZMINIMAN I was just in Phoenix this past weekend and gotta say one helluva party town..Radius Axis.....was a blast!
