Recommendations On Service


I'm taking my Mini in for service soon. It's been about half a year or so and was wondering if there's been any new updates to the MINI such as recalls and Computer Updates? It's been awhile since I've had time to search through the forums.

I have a 2003 Mini Cooper and I'm getting a standard Oil change. It'll be it's 3rd and it has 16200 Miles on it. I'm trying to change at least every 6000 miles. I'm also hoping to have the tires rotated since they haven't done that yet. Any other recommended work to be done on it?

I also have a dashboard rattle I'm going to have them look at. Have they figured that out yet? I know it's been an ongoing problem with the car. Mine seems to come from the round thermostat detector in the center of the dashboard.

Go to the tire forum,there is a thread there dealing with rotating tires.There have been new software updates,some folks run better with them,some not.
I had some door rattles that seem to be fixed now.I did have a dash rattle,I gave it a good hard wack with my hand,and it has been gone for 10,000 miles
