In a previous work life, I went to various ports like Southeast Toyota in Jacksonville, FL for quality issues with the conversions of various add-ons. For example, Toyotas from Japan would arrive (5k/ship) for accessorizing prior to dealer shipment. The conversion lines would change wheels/tires, add sunroofs, add cruise control, change to leather seats,..., the list goes on. Same approach was used at the BMW SC plant with BMeers from Germany to be converted / accessorized.

So here is the question: Does our NJ-VDC do any accessorizing and/or conversions take place with our MINIs as I experienced with Toyota?
