My car is being assembled now. I wanted to order some mats from Classic since I think they are the cheapest. At least my dealer is higher. I don't remember what color the flooring is in the car. What color would look better, black or grey carpet mats? I will probably get the winter rubber mats at the same time. I have a CR/B MCS with Black Leatherette and CR dash. Thanks for your help.

 

With black leatherette interior wouldn't the carpet be black? If you want to be an extrovert you might try red floor mats. In the olden days a company like MG Mitten would offer sisal mats in red with black trim or black with red trim. Mats in all black would be safest and disappear in the floor. Grey might appear out of place though. But by choosing CR/B for the exterior and CR for the dash your car will already be exciting to look at. Go for it. And be sure to wear red sox when you go walking the dog.

 

My MCS has the black leather seats and black carpeting. IMO anything other than black mats would look out of place.

You might want to look into aftermarket floor mats. I got mine from R-Speed (with red MINI embroidering which currently are not on their web site), and they appear to be of better quality than the OEM MINI mats that my dealer gave me for free (after paying an exorbitant markup for immediate delivery).
