we don't have front licenses here in PA but if the dealer accidentaly drills the holes I may get a euro plate that says 3V000M. I'm also considering 'W00F' for the vanity plate... in reference to the bulldog resemblance. I guess I could get it reversed for a front euro plate too if I felt the need.

I guess this is a popular one. My camera is currently down, but I have:

AC2LSIZ.

JCampos has AC2LSYZ.

We'll have to get all of these together in Vegas for a photo opp.

And what is: T1 3VOM ??

Quote: Up North here in BC-Canada, it's $100 to get processed, than $40/year to keep it. What's the currency conversion on that to US funds per year?........like 5 bucks?
Still thinking of 'the perfect' plate to use.
$100? that's all??? I have 3 of them at $250 a piece in Alberta and $57 per year to keep it.

My vanity plates finally arrived last night!

It took six and a half weeks, but I got them. I got my thrid choice of "RED5 XW". My first and second choice were "RED 5" and "REDFIVE", but now that I have the plates and they are on the car I really like what I got.

Red 5 is for Luke Skywalker's call sign in Star Wars a New Hope and XW for the fighter he flew, a X-Wing. Photos will be posted in my gallery over the weekend.

Trying to find the sweet spot
While pondering all the great tags in this thread, I realized that I need something that represents both the car and me. (Either representation can be sarcastic, of course, because I am.)

Thinking of MINIDAD (as a father of 3), but as a coffee drinker with a spirited little car, I'm also considering CAFN8TD.

I'm a pug owner (what a surprise ) and we have an expression "multo in parvo" which many say means "a lot of dog in a little space". (I figure the latin does not have enough words to mean all that.) I'm trying to come up with something like the for the car, but so far, no luck. Let me know if you think of anything.

This wasn't on a MINI, but I saw it yesterday and felt the need to share it with the folks here. A brand new red Corvette with the personalized NJ plate "DEVIANT"

Who puts that on a plate and for what possible reason???

Love your plate. Do you keep it mounted upside down all the time? I sure hope so!

I leave the back one right side up and the front inverted. If stopped, I'm just going to use the "I'm old" excuse . . . I also carry a screw driver to turn it over on the spot if required. Front plates just inhale.

If your Mini is like mine was (2003 MC) the front plate holder was mounted on the car. It is easily removed end behind it you will find screw holes that fit a mounting bracket for a Euro plate. See my signature for a pic. Hopefully things haven't changed. If you orderered an MCS, MCSc you may need to make the holes yourself though?

if the dealer accidentally drills the holes tell them they need to replace your bumper. call them NOW and tell them you don't want the holes... put it in writing. NOW NOW NOW.
