I wonder what DSC would do?

If you had enough space to lay out a perfectly circular flat paved track, and began to accelerate around it.
When you reach the speed where you start to drift, would the DSC limit your speed? IOW, could you keep your foot on the gas while holding a steady even rate of turn, and never have the MINI accelerate beyond the speed at which it could hold that turn?

Or, would the DSC simply keep the front/rear end in line as the car accelerated and began an even, controlled drift?

Anyone have any opinions or, better still, experience with this kind of situation?
