Literally at my wits end with my car .. ABS & Tyre pressure lights come on .. have had a new ABS Pump all coded it’s had the loom all rewired a new wheel speed sensor but the lights come on at the first crank if you turn it off then on again they disappear.. all wiring has been double checked plus it’s had new battery and my mini garage are now scratching there heads as to what’s up it’s a MINI ONE R50 2003 any help much appreciated as it’s giving me a damn headache

 

What DTC is in memory? Without disconnecting the harness, back probe the ABS module ground wire with the positive lead of your multi meter and touch the negative lead of the multi meter to a known good ground. How many volts? What is your battery voltage? What are your tire pressures?

 

It’s had a new battery on it so will double check the voltage on that , tyre pressures are 34psi all round on it there all good I check them weekly with everything else and there good more or less all the time .. I was leaning towards a bad engine earth ground as it’s only happening on first crank if I turn it off and crank again 9/10 the lights go out.. DTC is showing Alternator under 9v
