How much does a stock slave cylinder move???

Need to get some input from you all. Having issues with getting the car into gear when it is running. When it is off there are not issues. When it is running the odd gears will not engage. Thought it might be the slave cylinder. As it rests from flat plastic (the base of the slave) to flat metal (the clutch fork engagement rod) it is about 50mm. When the pedal is depressed it moves to about 60mm so a whopping 10mm difference. So there is engagement but I am thinking that there is not full engagement. Of course pedal springs back but it is not very firm.

Seems too short of travel. Suspect the slave may be faulty. No leaks and bled several times.

Can someone give me an idea of what their "throw" is on their slave cylinders? Or any other ideas???
