R50/53 Engine pull for clutch & other jobs

Engine pull for clutch & other jobs
Last year I did subframe off, restoration and repaint last year along with all the bushings, tie rods, ball joints, suspension, power steering system, supercharger service, pulley, tensioner.
Now! Wonderfully, my clutch is slipping!
Apparently a lot of guys use this as a subframe off restoration job.
Since I've already done this... whatcha all think of pulling the engine instead?
Also!
I'd like to tackle any other jobs that may bite me again.
Need to be able to take this car on some long road trips without feeling like I'm gambling...
Any ideas for other jobs for reliability or opportunity upgrades?
So far I've got:
- rear main seal
- guide tube and seal
- LSD
Thanks!

I did two engine outs with subframe left. It’s actually pretty easy.
things to watch out for, the heater hoses with all the t fittings, separate a heater core hose off them. Untwist the engine connector located on drivers side engine bay, pop the lower ball joints off the lower arm so you can swing them out to remove the axles, amd the 3 engine /trans mounts.
The clutch slave can be unbolted from trans and with line wiggled out and up out of the way so you don’t even have to crack the line.
oh and the starter wire and there is one vacuum line to brake booster with a quick disconnect. As well as unplugging a line of the evap solenoid iirc.
all in all it’s actually a pretty manageable job. The thing comes out as a full assembly with full vacuum lines and wire harness attached so you can separate on the ground and

^^ Be careful what you wish for. I pulled the engine for something minor and it turned into an odyssey.
