Does the reset command on the speedo menu reset shifting adaptations, got a 06 with 101000, and it just start the violent shifitng problems between 2 and 3 and it clunks into reverse..... it the exact problem so many people report, I changed the fluid about 12000 ago three drains at 2.5 liters each..... (the temperature thing described baffes me because as with any fluid (whether or not is expands when heated) if you measure what comes out when cool and replace it with the same amount how is that wrong..... does the fluid expansion change as it ages

WHen i changed it it wasnt having problems i just wanted to be proactive but is was a little smoother and has been trouble free untill yesterday when i was 40 miles from home (AAA saved my *** ) it either doesnt shift into third or once it does it slams back down to 2 or flicker shifts back and forth and you can hear the metal gears clanking when it does..... it locks the wheels when it bang shifts to i was lucky to be in sparse traffic... SO as you can see this mini NEEDS to be operational because i have Too much time and money into it for it to be retired, for three years its been very reliable.

so i thought i would do a level check after checking fluid temp on my scan tool , top off if needed , clear the shift adapts and see if it makes any difference,,,,, my luck will be that it needs solonoids and or valve body.

ALSO selling some brand new coilovers cheap, i ended up going with lowering springs and roll ctr comps, KONI str's and a 08 alum trailing arm conversion, heavier sway bars front and back with godspeed adjustable downlinks.
