Abs/tire pressure/brake light still on after sensors replaced

Hi all,

edit: also, I noticed when driving that suddenly at random I might lose rpm’s and it just drops to zero and I can’t accelerate. After stopping, I can drive again and it might happen at random again. This has never happened to me before and only when the trifecta of lights have been on. This is most likely related right?

I’m having an issue with the abs/tire pressure/brake light. As a result I replaced both front wheel sensors. I used my foxwell device and saw the rear two sensors are reading speed correctly but the two new front sensors are not. I made the mistake of not doing this with the old sensors to see if both were bad. That could have helped me determine if the new sensors are defective, in the event only one of the old sensors wasn’t working.

I’ve heard these are the possibilities:

Both new sensors are bad (I bought them on Amazon)

The wiring harness is bad. How can I check that it’s producing proper voltage and what would that be?

The abs ring on the wheel hub could be bad and the sensor can’t read it. Is this likely that both are like this?

I’d appreciate any insight as well as including any other possible culprits. Thank you!

From: Under the car. As per normal.

Is it too late to put the old ones back and see?

Chinesium isn't always a bad idea but it often isn't a good one with electronics for these cars. Would return those ('defective') and get OEM or one of the bigs of the aftermarket:

Not necessarily a recommendation - Although having had the trifecta issue and tried several different brands of abs/wheel sensors (3); the Bremi from fpc euro finally worked for me. It is possible all others (new) more & less expensive (Amazon), were all defective. (?)

I wish I could still do it but I’m in an apartment complex and it looks like the bag that had the sensors is buried now. I don’t really feel like dumpster diving for this. I’d rather buy those bemis and give it another shot. Hopefully it’s just this and not something more complicated.
