Has anyone else, orderd custom color combinations? Is it a difficult process and does it mean waiting an extra long length of time to get?

I'm curious as well... I've got some ideas....

 

I don't think that you can order "custom combinations", other than the standard choice of roof colors, and those can be limited too. For example, you can't get the white roof on a Pure Silver MINI.

I'm guessing that the car in question came from the factory with a standard color combo, and was painted by a shop afterwards.

 

I've spoken to my dealer about custom options straight from the dealer... I wanted to get the Euro version of the toggle switches installed over there... figured it was easier. She doesn't know why, she thinks its dumb too that they don't take any special orders at all. So, you'll have to do what I'm going to do with the "Austin Powers" full-car Union Jack. Paint it yourself (thats if you happen to have a professional paint facility... if not, go find a body shop to do it... not Maco... lol.) Red and Green would be pretty cool. Good luck!

 

From everything I have heard, custom color ordering can not be done.

BTW, Apple was custom painted. I believe he is a regualar user on MINI2.

 

Is this the "apple" of which you speak?

Thanks for the comments and advice. I'm thinking Indi Blue with a soft yellow (not bright lemon) top and mirrors??? What do ya think???
