Hello, I have some concerns regarding gearbox in my R50 '05.

Since it's winter now (-3 degrees celsius) in the morning, gear **** moves harder than usual, it feels slimy, like it's has glue somewhere. In warmer conditions it's normal.

Should I check my gearbox oil?

I have one more concern, is in R50 '05 gearbox still a bit "bad"? Sometimes I can't put it in 1st gear from my first try. I have to put it to second / third and then switch to 1st gear. Is that normal?

 

Mine was doing the same. Bushing were bad on my cables. Had to replace. Using bushing fix repair kit.
