Just wondering if anyone with a cordoba beige interior ever repainted the rear side panels and if so what paint they used. I've tried searching but cant find any paint specifically for that color. Thanks for any help. Here is my interior.
What are you trying to paint? Sorry, I don't have a convertible, but if you are intending to paint over the Cordoba Beige, I must urge you to stop. As someone who has owned 2 Cordoba Beige R53s (and will not accept any other interior color), I can tell you it is a nightmare trying to find replacement bits in that color.
If you are trying to paint something that isn't beige to make it beige, then I can't help you, other than to suggest a brand called SEM. They make rattle-can coatings (not exactly "paint") that is designed for plastics/vinyls that are subject to flex and thermal expansion. I use them all the time on aircraft interiors. I don't know if they have a color match with Cordoba Beige.
If you ever need replacement Back seats I have a set of black / cordoba just like yours, I did rear seat delete in my 2006 r53 hatch. rear seats are completely useless unless your passengers are little people or have no legs below the knee. better with trap floor boards w/ under storage. seats are perfect and ill let the m go cheap.
Yes I was trying to repaint the rear side panels because they are all scratched up from the previous owners. I found a company that will color match the paint and make it an aerosol for me. And unfortunately the R52 rear seats are different than the R53 seats I believe. Plus my seats are in decent shape but thank you for the offer.
