This'll be interesting.

I probably "invest" an hour to an hour and a half each (work) day hangin' out with you guys at MCO. I'm better for it. And because I'm the "boss", everyone naturally thinks I'm working!

Which, of course, I am.

HA!

It depends.....if it's slow I could be around all day. If I am busy....not so much.

Today it is slow. It is snowing and I WANNA GO HOME!

When its slow at work, there isn't much else to do. I must spend about 2 hours a day on the net (average) when its quiet. Most of that 2 hours is on this site. I occasionally go on a games site to kill the boredom if there aren't many people on this. Life was worse before this came along. Thank you MCO.

I have the pulse up and running all day, so I guess that would mean all day. but actively reading and posting and whatnot? probably about an hour to 2 hours.

I hear that! Never thought I'd be retired at 30, but I'm loving it so far!

Let's see! this is confidential now right?! about the same amount of time I spend at the work place minus an hour or two. Heh heh. Note all that time spent and still in first gear, I must have been having clutch troubles with the keyboard.

It's getting worse and worse...I'm powerless before MCO...I'm drawn to the big white light....like a moth to a flame!

And here I thought I could use it as life support until I got a MINI and then give it up cold turkey!

Is there a 12 step program for MINIacs? Or is it just running through the Getrag gears twice?

I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it conflicts with my religious beliefs.

I have the Pulse up all day. It depends on how busy I am, but I would say 1 hour a day.

Lets see...a typical day consists of 2 hours MCO time, 2 hours fantasy football time, 2 hours for lunch, and 2 hours of actual work.

"You know Bob...I'd say in a given week, I only do about 15 minutes of actual work"

I just do consulting whenever now, no real job. So, I was at a company yesterday and their IT guys had screwed up their web servers real bad. They had reset the permissions and couldn't load anything to the server and had seemed to have locked themselves out of it. So I took about a 2 hour opportunity then to surf MIN2.com and MINICOOPERONLINE on their dime. It's ok with me.

But no, I wouldn't say I would make a habit out of this... not a great idea.

Well, certainly the better part of my lunch hour. And if my boss takes her lunch at a different time, then the better part of her lunch hour too. Then you'd have to factor in the times that a topic on MCO Pulse is just too alluring, and of course there's always Friday afternoons but nobody really expects you to work then anyway...

Mondays are the worst. Takes me well over an hour to just catch up with all of the weekend posts.

Usually I get two 15 minute breaks from MCO. That's when I go to MINI2 or Yahoo Mid-Atlantic mini.

Work? Occasionally. But I try to keep it to a MINImum.

I always read thru the new posts first thing in the morning on this site, MINI2 and miata.net. Then I read the news on CNN and the local NBC and CBS affiliate sites. Then I start working. Hey, I'm in at 5am every morning. I'm allowed some "me" time.

Of course leaving it up all day so I can jump on and snoop is pushing the limits of what's allowed at my work.

I dunno, total time online at MCO? Maybe 9+ hours a day. Total time actually snooping around on MCO and posting? Maybe 2-3 hours a day.

I'm sick and I like it. ops:

TOO much time, I check forums etc as soon as I get in and then jump on board 2 to 3 times a day for about 1/2 hour or so each time. I've been to see a couple of Doctors about my problem but they all just look to the parking lot and say "Hey, I see you've got one of those new MINI's. Now, the Cooper S that's the supercharged one right? Hey do you mind if I go and take a look? the same gearbox as the BMW M3 you say? So how does it drive?" Why bother seeking therapy just succumb to the addiction that is MINI.

Woud Jesus Drive A MIni? I don't know about Jesus but the Devil has got a John Cooper Works MCS. Chilli Red, Body Coloured Roof and Mirrors, 20" BBS Alloys.

ZERO.

I'm lucky, I've got one of those jobs people depend on me to do my work. Not cruise the web.
