will 2008 seats fit in my 2004 r53?

 

I'm quite confident that people have put Gen 2 seats into a Gen 1. I believe at least some of the various plugs on the seats are a problem though, different and not compatible. I think the seatbelt tensioner is also different so you have to use the gen 1 part. There are a few threads on this subject that I've seen. Try a search.
