I’m currently looking for a slicktop 2005-2006 R53 with manual transmission. In my search I’ve encountered two cars I’m strongly considering. One is a 2006 JCW with 130k miles and the other is a S model with 99k. Both have strong maintenance history and seem like well kept examples.

All things equal how much more is a JCW car worth over a standard “S” model? As someone that likes to mod my vehicles, the JCW comes with a lot of positives (better brakes, upgraded engine).

Mileage is one of my big concerns. Is 130k getting up there for a dealer maintained car?

Any insight would be much appreciated.
