Ambient lighting

I have been wanting to do this ever since I bought this car and so glad I did. I love ambient lighting in the newer nicer cars .

Love the one that goes across the dash. How'd you do it?

Okay this is pretty cool. Did you home grow this? Kit? Whatever the case, it looks great and would enjoy hearing all about what you did. Well done!

I bought the kit from Lightkraft off of Etsy. It’s the EL-Wire 6.5’ with the driver for 12v. For the doors I had to cut off the ribbon so it would nestle down in the door crevice and used glue to hold them. I notched a small hole at the very bottom and ran the wire inside the panel and mounted the driver. I get my power from the door handle light harness. The dash was very easy. The light ribbon slides into the groove and cut it to length. Since I already installed gauges I just tapped into the light circuit beside the knee bolster and mounted the driver there as well. I really love the look and plan on doing this to my other vehicles as well.
