Brake Fluid Change & Flush

Help, I cant find anywhere how much brake fluid I need to buy for a brake fluid flush. I have a 2005 MINI Cooper S, R53.
Is it 1 or2 quarts?

Thanks in advance!!

Might visit a local MINI parts department and ask if someone there knows. If so while you are there get the brake fluid.

Had the brakes flushed/bled (and the clutch hydraulic system also flushed and bled) a while back for my 2018 MINI JCW but I do not recall how much fluid was required.

If you want buy 2 quarts. Only open one. Use a turkey baster to remove some old fluid then top up with new fluid. Proceed to flush the brakes. Be sure you keep the fluid level in the reservoir topped up. If you find you need the 2nd quart you have it. If you don't need it because it is unopened you should be able to return it. Maybe you want to check with the autoparts store first, though. If it says "No" then get one quart. If you need a 2nd make a mad dash to the auto parts store to get a 2nd quart.

Be sure to follow THE book..!
You need to use a scanner to fool the brake system into the anti-lock mode and flush a second time to get all of the old fluid out. Otherwise, in a few miles, the fluid will be dark again as the old fluid mixes with the new.
Don't believe me...read the manual...

Good old rule is to start furthest from the master cylinder and work your way around to the closest.

Thank you, I have another car that doesn't follow the standard thought process so I thought I would ask
