The show Fifth Gear on the Speed channel has an episode on a woman at her first hill climb in her new MINI. It's not very long, but was fun to watch.

Our Tivo picked it up as the episode "Mini Racer", but I don't see that listing on the Speedtv site. It is probably the espiode called "Rally Rookie" that airs Mon, Dec 13 9:00AM ET.

That short is one of my faves! It's a repeat btw. While my MINI was on order, I saw it and had to play back for my wife. "See!! See! that's why I want a MINI!" We're tivo enabled, too!

Watching Tiff zoom around in the Clubman MINI was a hoot! In fact, my wife was cheering the lady on and grimaced when she missed the shift at the last bend!

This begs the question, has anyone imported the JCW Clubman kit to the States? I would love to test drive a MINI with it.

If only the John Cooper Challenge was running stateside as well!! Too bad they're taking the hill climb out for next year's challenge.

Fifth Gear is actually giving away a MINI because they called it the best car built in Britian(sp?). But thats on the current Fifth Gear airing right now over in England.
