When i got into my 04' S this morning everything seemed to be fine until I tried to turn on my heat. Nothing happened! The entire ACC panel wouldn't work. After a few miles I was stopped at a traffic light and turned my car off and then on again. The ACC was alive again. Any ideas what went wrong? Should I be concerned about this?

I had the exact same thing happen on my '04 MCS a month ago. I looked down and the ACC screen was blank, buttons not functioning. After I restarted the car it worked just fine and no problems since then. Computer glitch?? Since I haven't had any problems since then I'm not terribly worried about it.

Been covered at least a couple of dozen times.

It happens. Restart fixes it. Life goes on.

Happened to me too in an o5 MCC. Funny thing was all of a sudden the fan speed increased dramatically. It sounded like a jet was flying overhead! I tried all the buttons, raised and lowered the temp but no response. I turned the car off at the next light and restarted and the glitch was gone. Ahh... the nice things about owning a Mini.
