So about a month ago, i got a heating sensor light that came on.

I checked the expasion tank and was low so filled it up and everything seemed to be back to normal for a while. Last week, I started getting a lot more of it and got hot and found that I had a crack in the tank. I have replaced the tank and still loosing fluid. I have the car parked as I found that it was getting into the oil.

So far, I am still holding pressure on the expansion tank before i shut down as I found coolant in the oil, I let it set over night and still had pressure on the expansion tank (new one).

I have mostly just had the dealer do the servicing for the life of the 2005 mini cooper JCW but just went over 100k miles. What I am asking is while I am pulling things apart, what should I be looking for/replacing while I have it apart.

I got the jack stands today get it up so i can get under it to work. I have been out of fixit game for while...

Thinks that I need to do:

1. replace thermostat
2. check oil cooler
3. Flush engine a few time to clean crap out of it

I am all ears for other suggestions and best way to get coolant out of the engine.
