really sluggish around 2500 rpms to 3000.sitting at light,idle seems to drop but never dies.step on gas sometimes and takes a few seconds for it to engage and pick up speed.changed coil pack,plugs,wires,bypass valve and fuel filter...still same problem....fuel pump?2003 mini s jcw..need help..

 

It may be the electronic pedal control under the gas peddle got wet/corroded, or going bad. There is a plug by the peddle that you can spray contact cleaner on, but if you have deffinate dead spots, it may need a new peddle sender.

 

Have you scanned the ECU in the car? Are you getting any codes?
