fasteners

Where can I find retention fasteners to replace broken ones? I have a fastener on the drivers side engine bay that holds a vacuum line that's broken and two fasteners that hold the battery wire in the rear underside. I'll take a coupe of photos the better explain.

I think that the battery clips/retainers are #5 in the diagram from realoem. With the part number you should be able to source them from someone like ECS/Pelican Parts. Hope this helps.

Oops, while I was looking on realoem, ECS replied.

Thanks, I looked all over realoem, and used search function, but find it. What about the vacuum line clip in the last pic? What area in realoem did you look to find the battery cable clip?

Some are not in realoem, but you have to know where to look or its in that final fitting and fasteners page with just pictures.

We offer any and all of them you need. Just email with a list and we'll put a package together of them and combine shipping to save you.

I clicked on the section headed "engine electrical system", and the scrolled down to "battery cable". For some reason the battery cable retainer/clip was not shown in the R53 search, so I tried looking thru the lists for R50 (2006 model year) and there it was. You sometimes have to get creative when searching realoem.

Sometimes you can find them on eBay. I order bags of the expanding rivets in the wheel wells off eBay for cheap.
