Wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly

Any recommendations or manufacturers to avoid? I'm trying to refresh something and going to replace all my hub assemblies on my 06 R53. I'd prefer not to drop 800-1000 for a full set of oem one's though if there's some quality aftermarkets available for less.

I recommend shopping around, I haven't seen or heard any negative comments of Aftermarket units failing early or not fitting, but shopping around you can sometimes find OEM parts less expensive then aftermarket parts. I know that both ECS Tuning and Way Motor Works carry a range of products. All suitable just a matter of what you want and how much you want to spend.

Check them out, lots to choose from.

Motor On!

You might want to check out Detroit Axle. Don't let their low cost (compared to OEM) throw you off. I installed two of their front hubs last June 2018 and have had absolutely no issues with them. You can find them on their website as well as Amazon.

Avoid the FEQ and other china ones as they don't last.

We use the OEM ones and don't have failures.

I went with some "Master PRO" hubs from the local Autoparts store. From everything I could find, they are better than the cheap china ones.....maybe (not sure) as good or better than the OEM hubs. They were about half the price of the OEM hubs. With a 3 year warranty, I figured I would roll the dice on them.

I used the Detroit Axle ones too. I only have a couple thousand miles on them though, but they looked of good quality.
