The Honda-Tech guy's profile that posted that says he's from California. I wonder who the lucky MINI Dealer is? All it say is "MINI of" on the car and the dealership is left blank.

EDIT: Quick Google Search on "Andres Motosports" turned up this.

Bay Bridge Motors (a division of Andres Motorsports) in OAKLAND near IKEA for any of you S.F. people.

MORE PICTURES OF THAT BEAST

Ya...I would say this engine has been modified

"I am sorry sir. Your blown head gasket is not covered under factory warranty because of minor engine mods"

LOL!

Actually, apart from the "non-factory" panel filter - there doesn't seem to be any glaring reason why warranty would be denied!

Anyone notice the high-tech brake reservoir cap on this puppy?
Yeah, that'll keep moisture out!

Oops- I forgot about the custom metal-foil EMI/heat shielding for the DME!

Light hearted sarcasm aside, having crewed for SCCA production cars, I must say that overall, the car looks really good. I didn't see any duct tape on the bodywork!

I wonder if M7's upcoming CAI will require "bonnet modification" similar to what this car has...

hmmmm... no less than 7 guages mounted on the dash... methinks there's a little something more than a panel filter going on... or it gets routinely flogged on the track.

NICE!!!!

Jacques Andres at Bay Bridge Motors is the guy who did the car.
He's the one who installed my MiniMania Stage II Kit and Unichip, great guy!
Glad to see my baby was in good hands...

Awesome!

I wonder what he’s actually using it for because I’m guessing it’s not auto-x.

Bay bridge motors is where Randy did a pully party in Sept. That car was in their garage.
