Just curious if the cassette deck was offered in North America?

I recently discovered it was an option in some markets apparently...



I was thinking it'd be an easy install swap for my cd deck?
I don't have HK system.

I have read they (junkyard spares & etc) need codes though and display like disabled or something?

May just get a Blaupunkt if it's a hassle, but I really do wanna go with a tape deck.

I need to rock my old mixtapes mang!

 

I think I actually have a cassette deck radio on the shelf, have to hunt in the warehouse this week if you really want one.

 

 

I can only imagine how low the take rate was on this option. Sort of like a bench seat in a '65 Mustang.
