Wow!

I'm new to the board, so I wasn't aware of your project. But, WOW - you are my hero!

Great job! And your web site is very nice, a great service to the MINI community!

I saw your running total of costs (about $1760 as I recall) but no mention of what you paid for the car in the first place. Would you mind sharing that with us, too?

But it's totally cool if you don't want to - no pressure. Just curious!

Awesome job. As someone else suggested, I'll echo the advice to keep being patient. You are going to have one very special MINI when it's done!

Yeah, I've been wondering about that myself. The last update on the website has it, "ready to start." I hope that nothing major popped up at the last minute. He was doing a great job!

Maybe he's too busy driving it?

I really enjoyed following along with this too in the past, but it's been a year since there was an update. He was so close though! So I hope it has been finished sucessfully.

It's alive? Seriously? That's great!

What's the scoop? When did he fire it up? What's he up to now?

is there any way you could get a sound recording of the engine running with an open header?

I love projects where I get to take the exhaust off. I can never resist firing pretty much anything up when the cats and mufflers are... distracted...

Anyway... now for the really fun part: body work.
