Newbie here, just had a question that couldn't find by searching. Does the r56 tow hitch work on r53 chassis? From most pics I've seen they look identical but are listed as different items. Anyone tried it successfully?

Reason being r56 hitches are easier too find for less.

It won't come out of the bumper in the right location. Get a proper R53 hitch and you won't have to hack up the bumper.
