I grew up in Montana so I know all about the roads in Western MT and Northern ID. Now that really is God's Country!!

The roads in Oregon are pretty good too. That road from Vernonia to Astoria is a nice drive, and so are some of the roads going south from Estacada. Haven't driven the one to Detroit Lake from Estacada, but I've driven South and come out on Highway 26 before...it was an eye opener since it was 2am after an concert in Estacada, and I didn't know where I was! Now that was motoring!
