Any thoughts.

I've always been happy with my aftermarket warranty in my other car, until this week. Seems as though the deductible is kind of a joke. I had two items covered under warranty, two fuel injectors, and a bad crank seal. The problem, the warranty companies book times and parts prices are insanely low, and you could never do the work in the number of hours they pay.
For example, the crank seal job was 6 hours Ford book time, but warranty company only pays for 3.7, and they would not explain where the come up with 3.7 hours. So $100 deductible, covered repair, $820 out of pocket me, $720 them. It was all bogus as they ok'd payment for $900, but after the car was finished, they said they changed their mind and would only send $720.
This was not with WarrantyDirect. Make sure they are underwritten by a financially strong insurance/reinsurance carrier before you buy a aftermarket warranty.
