Anybody see the Mini Cooper get blown up in the movie Team America: World Police? It was a Red and white one that was sitting on the streets of either Paris or London. We rule!!! Anybody like the movie. My wife hated it, I thought it was pretty good.

 

Wait, there's a MINI in it?!?!?!?! Now I hafta go.

BTW, I heard an NPR story...the film's director said he'd never do another movie w/ marionettes. Too many strings attached????

 

Tuls and I went and saw that movie this weekend and started cheering when we saw the mini but within seconds were like "oh noooo!" which just made us laugh harder.

We loved the movie, there were parts that I thought were so funny I was in tears laughing. It's deffinately not a movie for everyone, especially the 9 year old little girl who sat behind us whos' parents were probably under the impression it was a kids movie accidently rated R! now that girls going to have some issues and will never look at dummies the same way again.

 

Now I gotta go ASAP! LOL!!

 

We went to see it, and I had heard they had to edit the "puppet sex" scenes to get the more "acceptable" R rating.

After seeing it I was saying to myself "this version must have not been edited", but after reviewing what I had seen it became very clear to me what had been edited...but I can't tell you what it was because it would give away the underlying theme of the movie

 

but you gotta be thinking the fun we could have with getting a woody and or the lumber and wood jokes coming from this movie.

 

I loved this movie....infact since I have some friends who just got to town I'll prolly see it again...LOL...WOO HOO!!!
