Love or Hate??

I think you might like or hate these-

You might get speaker bruises from those 12" subs in each door.

Overdone or not??

Altezza lights and huge rear bumper

Speakers, wheels and tips not big enough.

Goose the volume and you could get rid of kidney stones.

The Mini clubman estate may come back! Getting back to the Mini roots, I see.

I spent the summer of 1968 driving around England in a Triumph Spitfire. I remember being so impressed by all the little "mini" delivery vans I saw - Morrises, Mini Clubmen (Clubmans?), various 3-wheelers. Things like florists and such. Made a lot of sense to me. You don't need a huge GMC van and a V8 to deliver flowers, fa'cris'sakes!

Maybe the new MINI "estate wagon" or "clubman" or whatever they're going to call it isn't going to be as beautiful or cute or sexy as the Coopers, but that isn't the point. A delivery van that gets nearly 30 mpg and says a lot about your company's image and attitude (fun, playful, youthful, economical, whatever) makes a lot of sense to me. I hope BMW sells zillions of 'em!

I think it would work if they increase the wheel base as apposed to adding behind the rear wheels,as they did to the classic.

And look at the gallery, they have everything from a Moke to the XXL.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture myself, but the AOL folks caught this shot at the national zoo today.

^^^Yes they are pure Photoshop...I don't think they're trying to hide it.

As for a clubman (which I still can't honestly say I've ever liked that much), if you could actually get businesses to drive them and give up there SUVs and trucks, that'd be great...I'm all for it. One can dream.....
