Jumped on the wagon

Been looking for a daily driver to keep miles off my truck so after looking around I pulled the trigger on a 04 Cooper S 6speed. Currently bone stock at 85k miles and looking to add some pep in its step. Ordered a boost gauge and mounting cup today so I can establish a base line before adding anything. I am thinking of keeping it simple and going with intake, exhaust, short shifter, rear sway bar, colder plugs, and a pulley (thinking the 16% pulley as I see alot of back and forth between 15 or 17 on here). Does this site have any partner companies that offer discounts or at the least support the page in some way? Id love to spend my money with them first if so. I won't ask too many of the already answered a thousand times questions, but any advice for a first time mini owner is readily accepted.

On the top bar of this page there is a Vendor Directory. They all know MINIs and many drive them as well. The pulley will give you the best bang for the buck relative to power and a 22mm swaybar will give you a more neutral handling car.

And welcome to NAM. Any pictures of your new toy?

welcome
We have been a NAM supporter since 2004 and happy to help.

for power best bang for the buck you should do it a pulley kit
https://www.waymotorworks.com/wmw-pulley-package.html

I would also do the ATI damper crank pulley just as a maint item as we see these fail weekly

Also an exhaust can free up the flow and increase HP and Torque

Or just start with our street performance package and build more if you need after that

For sway bar that again is easy

Have to wait a couple pay checks and then I will be giving you guys at WMW an order for everything but the rear sway. thanks for the input and recommending the crank pulley. I was not aware they were a weak link but if i am already going to have the car apart might as well fix that issue before it becomes one!

You have nva in your screen name, are you from Northern Virginia? If so around what area? We have a couple local clubs that get discounts from local dealers on parts.

No it just means in Virginia. I'm in Hampton roads area. My bro lives in Alexandria though.
