Schroth Quick fit advice

So I've decided to get a set of the schroth quick fits for my mini. I've been watching the marketplace for over a year but haven't been able to catch any, does anyone have any advice on the best/cheapest place to pick up a set? or do they tend to go on sale at a certain time of year? like koni shocks?

Also what do people think about the pads? are they nice to have? or unnecessary?

I think (not 100% sure) the Schroth harness has an expiration date code on them. If that is the case and the event organizers of the events you will be participating in check for those things, keep that in mind when buying used.

I found the pads were well worth it.

The only date on them is the validity date. That is, what date car they are good up to. These are DOT certified so there is no expiration date on the Quickfit.

They show up periodically in the the Marketplace here on NAM. Spring and fall, typically, as that is the beginning and end of track season.

No exp dates on them.

We do keep them in stock if you want. And really do recommend the pads as the harnesses tend to cut into your neck otherwise.
