Has anyone weighed their MC40? If The magazine reviews give weight figures but they seem like to match the standard Cooper S weight. Obviously the sunroof delete takes away a lot of weight. The lack of seat heaters, and cruise control etc may not take away a lot but something.

 

The decals and the magnetic badges probably add a massive amount of weight!!

I have and its explained in my post why I'm looking for an owner who has personally weighed theirs. As I said, manufacturer listed weights often do not necessarily apply to got a given set of features, eg. sunroof delete. Even cruise control equipment weighs a few pounds. Also there are government standards for how manufacturers are to measure weight such with or without fluids or how much gas in the tank. I think Europe even lists weights plus a 75 kilos lbs or something like that for the driver. Then, there are differences in features (and weights) between the same model of car depending on the market. I could be wrong in the details but car weight is not as straightfoward as looking up the manufacturer's brochure. So, I asked who has put their MC40 on a scale.

 

The weight is not too bad but the aerodynamic drag is the killer.
