Megan header/O2 sensor

For those that have replaced your stock header with a Megan header, what have you done for the O2 sensors whose leads are too short, and don't make it to the locations on the header pipe?

Plug the existing one and have a new bung welded on.
Not sure if extending the wires on the O2 sensor is ok.

I've extended the wires, I found it harder to control the noise, it woke the dead and wont pass db tests.

I put stock header back on, minus the precat
