Hey all,

I'm about to embark on some major service on the Cooper, and will be putting it into front end service mode for the first time. I already know I'm going to need to order some new clips for the inner fender liner as they're pretty worn, I was wondering if anyone had a link to some good replacements on Amazon? And any other "disposable" clips I might end up replacing? Thanks!

 

Oops, should've kept searching just a bit longer before I posted. Found some here:

 

There are some funky looking plastic clips/pieces on the bumper cover that you need to remember how they go back in. I just looked on OEM to find a template and mark but could not find. These whatever they are provide the attachment for the inner wheel liner where it screws to the bumper. Picture a Z shaped thing in your head that has a flat plastic shelf at the top that is perpendicular to the Z. There is a right and a left. They can fall out when you set the bumper cover down. The Z part is flexible and you can adjust the reveal line between the bumper cover and the hood. I will keep looking for a diagram. I have the "facelift" model that is 05 on. I don't know if the prefacelift has the same parts.

Also pay attention to how the wires route to the various bulb sockets.
