Has anyone ordered Milltek exhaust from the UK? What kind of duties have you paid? Was it worth it. The Dollar is strong right now.

 

I haven't bought an exhaust from the UK but I bought a ton of parts for a triumph motorcycle from a parts distributor in Italy. I relied on paypal and it went really smoothly. The biggest problem I had was the language barrier and time delay. USPS will collect the duty on the import, you won't need to deal with a customs broker or freight carrier. I have a buddy who has bought a couple high end Rossi commemorative AGV helmets from Italy too, and he has had mixed success. One of his helmets showed up in a box that had been mangled and he had to arrange a replacement with US CBP, luckily a replacement was still available once he got the claim check. That being said I don't think you'd save enough money to make it worth the hassle and not have a warranty. The only reason I placed that order though was the parts weren't available in the US.
