Ok, I have a friend who is a Star Wars Geek (cough) Fan and he wants to order an all-White Mini with a Black top and Black stripes.

He wants to call it: "A little short for a stormtrooper"

I've already seen an all-black MCS with Illinois plates: VADER

Anyone here?

I won't reveal my plates until I get my car.

I'm still trying to figure out what to put on my plates when I get my MCS. With my current tag I am limited to 5 letters/numbers.

billyg if your friend is getting a MCS tell him to check out STROOPR if he can go with 7 letters.

My MINI's name is DeeDee, but you can't tell by the plates (I just have the regular old given-to-me-by-the-state variety right now) although I have a eurotag that says SILVRCOOPR.

Well after 5 months and 7K miles, I have finally decided on a name for my MCS: "Nigel"

It's a British name and depending on which website you search for name origins/meanings, it means: "champion" or "dark-haired boy". The first meaning is obvious, the second, well... he IS Pure Silver with a Black roof! LOL

Also, a friend played me a song by the band XTC called 'Making Plans For Nigel' and it just seemed to fit perfectly. The lyrics to the song are:

We're only making plans for Nigel
We only want what's best for him
We're only making plans for Nigel
Nigel just needs this helping hand
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
We're only making plans for Nigel
He has his future in a British steel
We're only making plans for Nigel
Nigel's whole future is as good as sealed
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
Nigel is not outspoken
But he likes to speak
And loves to be spoken to
Nigel is happy in his work
We're only making plans for Nigel

Seems like the song was written for just for him! (Except for the part about "has his future in British Steel'...I guess in this case, he has a PAST in British Steel)!

Mine is, obviously, Sprog.

Its British slang for "Little One", or as I have been informed, its also a work the RAF uses for new recruits.
