Mini Life is good again

Last time I posted I was asking about what I should service on my R53. I ended up having Bmw redo my suspension at a discounted price (thank god). When I got the car back I replaced my serpentine belt with an OEM one and eliminated my squeal completely. I will need to do a clutch very soon, i know it's a huge project, but is this something I should just do myself? Is there a better clutch than the stock one? I will be auto crossing it in the summer so it might be a good idea. The car isn't a daily driver fyi.
Thanks

Replacing the clutch is a very big job so if you had a shop do your suspension, you should probably have someone also put your clutch in. If it's not slipping I wouldn't worry about it until it does.

Valeo clutch kit is a good oem alternative, has a lighter pedal and can handle any normal mods you might do to your Mini. Few other higher end clutches are out there, but unless you are doing some major engine upgrades the valeo or oem are just fine.
