What Is This Wiring Harness?

So.... I dropped the subframe out a few months ago to do LCA's and forgot to undo this connection on the subframe. That week the DSC and Brake light came on... but then it went away for a few weeks. Then one day i was rotating the tires and bumped it with my hand... now both lights are on all the time. I'm HIGHLY suspect that this part is throwing me the fits.... but BMW and nobody else I've talked too seems to know what the heck this harness is?? It's Driver side..... Thank you everyone so much in advance! Hoping this is a sensor or something for those two and I can swap it out real quick. Thanks!!!

The location looks to be the plug for the auto leveling sensor that bolts to the control arm for the xenon headlights.

If this is right then that has nothing to do with the dsc light.

Since it's on the driver's side, reverse light harness connector perhaps?
Do your reverse lamps work?

You can see the lever on the sensor just to the left of the wiring. Its part of the light leveling system.

Yep 2 wires in that area, one to the headlight level sensor and the other to the manual transmission reverse sensor ( which you cannot see in the pic).
