where is the cold air coming from?

2005 CooperS
Cold air is blowing on the passengers feet when moving, but not when sitting still. The heat is working fine though. Where is this cold air blowing in from?

I would drive the car and have someone ...who has some knowledge......
sit in the passenger seat upside down so there head is underneath the dash with a flashlight.
Drive the car and find where its coming from.

Don't laugh......it works...

Do you have recirculate on or off? Air for the A/C with recirculate off comes from the cowl, so at speed the air rams through the ducts and out the vents. If you just put recirculate on with the blower off, the door to the cowl closes and you won't get that effect.

It is most likely coming in from the door gasket, or someone did window work and left out the paper air stop, behind the door panel.

On mine if I leave the sunroof on the cracked position then I get a slight breeze from where my feet are, it's nice if the car gets too warm
