I have an 06 R53. Car was working fine and suddenly it wont start. I think the battery is good. I noticed the aftermarket alarm is not blinking anymore at the same time the car will not make a beep that the alarm is activated. I am guessing that this might be an alarm related problem. The aftermarket alarm was installed before I purchased the car. Any thoughts and suggestions so I can get my ride to work .
If PO has not supplied AM Alarm packet, research the system and telephone the company who manufactured it. Could be one of those buttons is a kill switch of sorts in need of a reset.
I am not sure how I can figure out the alarm manufacturer with just the buttons. Is there some easy way to tell who manufactured it. Does anyone know who made this?
