My Drivers side A Pillar plastic cover

has a long crack that runs from the top edge almost centered down 5 or 6 inches. I have ordered a new cover and have received it....now what is the proper way to remove and replace the A Pillar Cover? I guess I can just break the cracked one out, but I don't know if anything needs to be removed for the new one to fit flush along the A Pillar. Any guidance appreciated.

Googled this: Stay with it, next one up is the replacement process.
