Help reassembling my engine

Ok. I am almost back in business after a motor rebuild. I tried to label everything as I removed it from the engine, but a couple things snuck past me (or I thought I would remember, but I don't )

First problem:
I do not have the bracket circled in pink on the third picture. I found that pic on google, so it might not apply to my year, or the previous owner removed it? 2003 r53. I have been looking to attach my wiring harness to something, but can't find anything. Is this what should be used for this? Right now it just lays on top of the transmission.

Second problems:
I have two brackets, that for the life of me I can't remember where they came off. The bolt holes are large so I assume they go on the bell housing somewhere. They are pictured below.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

kinda looks like the shifter cable bracket due to its size, but hard to tell since I haven't dug that deep =D

I just put my engine back in the car after a rebuild as well. The first bracket is for the slave cylinder tubing. It bolts to the tranny mount. Second bracket is for the wiring harness. The top starter bolt goes through it. The last bracket holds the throttle body my 05 cooper S has it.

I put my engine harness on the engine before I installed the engine. Made the install go so much easier.

Make sure and prime the oil system, but You probable you know that. I primed mine before I installed it. I also poured oil directly in to the short tube that the oil filter goes over.

Thank you so much jeffl, that helps me a lot. I do not have the throttle body bracket, I guess the previous owner thought it was not needed? I'll have to get one ordered.

I'm glad you said something about priming the oil system, what is the best way to do that?

Welcome glad I could help out. I primed mine just before I installed using a battery and one of those cheap starter switches. With the spark plugs out. If yours is in the car pull your fuel pump relay and spark plugs out. Then turn it over until the oil light goes out. Are you running any break in oil or break in additive.

I also had the valve cover off for I could see the oil coming out of the rocker arms.
