Welding a bung for AFR gauge sensor on RMW header

Hi Guys,

I'm going to switch my header from SuperSprint to RMW as the ports on the Super Sprint are smaller than my BVH exhaust ports.

I'm in the process of getting a AFR gauge installed. Currently there are only two areas I can install a second bung for the sensor. One, opposite to the O2 sensor (which I'm afraid might cause the O2 sensor and the AFR sensor to contact; on the top before the flex). Two, below after the flex (which is close the CAT and I'm told the sensor should not be installed too close to the CAT).

I'm trying to find out if anyone else has done mod on a RMW header for a second bung and what has worked for them. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Max
