I just picked up a set of 4 Motegi MR7 rims with Falken Ziex ZE912 215/45ZR17 tires that are almost brand new but I see that the stock bolts will not fit in the mounting holes in these rims. Does anyone know what bolts will be needed to mount these on my 2006 R53 or a stud and nut conversion that will work.

I had a similar problem with a set of wheels once. The lug nuts were too wide for the holes, so I had to get what they called "Tuner lug nuts" they are basically really thin, and have an internal socket, rather than external like most lug nuts you see.

Or a conversion kit, and then get tuner lug nuts.

 

No need to go to all that trouble. You can purchase Tuner Lug "Bolts" instead.

They go in same as factory.

Keep the extra 4 in the car along with lug key just in case.
