Hi friends. Im having a huge rattling when im listening to music and sunroof open. Ive tried to figure out the source but is very hard because it only happens when im driving. And of course i cant check while im driving. Hoping someone has found a solution for this problem. I looked on the forums and google it but didnt have a direct result.

Does your air deflector pop up when you open the sunroof?

 

BABY J yea it does pop up. That rattle is so irritating tho

 

Just to be sure - it rattles whether the radio is on or off right?

Also - is it coming from sunroof area or the cargo area?

What is the recirculating vent set to when you hear the rattles. Does opening/closing this have an effect?

 

BABY J it rattles only when the roof is open and the radio is on. If I turn the radio off, rattle goes away. It's coming from the sun roof right above my head.
I'm not sure about the recirculation setting to be honest.
How would I go about checking if that has an effect on the rattle. Is that on the climate control?

 

radio on && sun roof open && driving isn't making sense.
Is it because you turn the radio up louder with the sun roof open that you hear the rattle?
Does the position of the shade matter?
I had a rattle from a coin in my passenger door that sounded like it was coming from the sun roof area. I realized it was in the door near the speaker when I was playing a song with a heavy base.
